As described on calls and in our scope document, product checkouts should essentially look like this:

  1. Product Sales Pages have multiple calls to action to a → Product Page

  2. On Product Page landing, pop "wants to send you push notifications" using a service Avi approves of.

  3. AND immediately pop "Get Free Shipping This Today Only If You Join Our Mailing List" from the bottom of the page politely, asking for name and email. @Nik Delgado

Or go the Sephora route and call it a website login as Avi prefers.

  4. Add To Cart

  5. On Add To Cart, pop up and Ask for Name & Email again if you don't have it already, saying "Get Free Shipping This Today Only If You Join Our Mailing List" - dump these in MailChimp for now, just make sure this fires the "lead" event on the facebook pixel.

  6. Two options on the popup after that - "Pay in Full" button, or "Pay $100 Non-Refundable In-Stock Reservation Fee" Button, nothing extra even on desktop. These should EACH represent a value-based custom conversion on the Facebook Pixel, one which is the product value and one which is $100. @Nik Delgado

  7. Regardless of choice:

  8. Checkout Page - This should fire as "initiate checkout" on the FB pixel - Split It, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Amazon Pay button, and "Manual Checkout" buttons NOTHING else - no data entry. Just the price they selected.

Just 5 buttons. Even on desktop.

IF manual checkout page - THEN and then only take them to the standard checkout page.

If you need us to mock any of this up for you in Figma, let me know, but it sounds like ya'll have it handled.

As a final note, SITE WIDE every single page should have a Facebook Chat customer support plugin like Lander.Media that matches unplugged's main color blue.
